The Crystal chest is found in the house directly south of the Witch's house in Taverley. The chest is locked and can only be opened using a crystal key. Attempting to open the chest without the crystal key yields the message: This chest is securely locked shut. The crystal key is made by combining a loop half of key and a tooth half of key.

Opening a crystal chest grants a variety of rewards, which will always include an uncut dragonstone.

Opening a crystal chest is also a requirement for the medium Falador Achievement Diary.

Currently the expected value of the crystal chest is 19,190.2574 coins, while the price/cost of the crystal key is 21,147 coins. Therefore, at the time of writing, it is recommended to sell key parts individually as it will most likely yield more profit.
