Dark wizards are mages who worship Zamorak and cast Strike spells.
Dark wizards play a vital role in the quest Demon Slayer as they perform a ritual to summon the demon Delrith.
Location
Dark Wizards can be located in a few different locations:
- Dark Wizards Tower
- Behind Draynor bank (level 7)
- Level 6 and 7 Wilderness
- Varrock South Gate (Stone Circle: levels 7 & 20)
Strategy
Dark wizards will attack with a variety of magic attacks, varying depending on level of Dark Wizard being fought.
The Level 7 variant will attack with Water Strike, and Confuse spells. Working effectively against warriors in metal armour.
The Level 20 variant will attack with Earth Strike and Weaken spells. Again working well against warriors in metal armour.
A good way to defeat these mages is to attack using Ranged, wearing leather or dragonhide armour.
