|A vengeful spirit corrupted by dark magic.|
Dharok attacks at a slower speed than his brothers, but when he is at low health he can hit up to 60, and thus, he is considered by most players to be the most dangerous of the Barrows brothers. It is strongly recommended that you activate Protect from Melee and pay close attention to your Prayer points while fighting Dharok.
Dharok's set effect, Wretched Strength, is a passive effect that causes his average damage dealt to be increased by 1% for each Hitpoint he is missing. This is identical to the set effect gained by players wearing his armour. When down to 1% health, Dharok the Wretched's damage output is essentially doubled. Therefore, it is incredibly important for a player to watch his or her Prayer points (if using protection prayers - HIGHLY recommended).
Dharok's weakness is Magic; therefore, it is recommended to use cost-effective spells such as Bolt spells or Magic Dart against him, with the latter being conveniently accurate and cost-effective, since looting the chests gives you death and mind runes.
If your Prayer runs out it is highly recommended you leave his crypt as Dharok can easily take out a player within a few hits without food or an emergency teleport such as a teleport tablet. In many cases, a Ring of life will not save the player from the high hits of Dharok the Wretched.
