This article is about Barrows brother Dharok the Wretched. For his armour set, see Dharok the Wretched's equipment.

Dharok the Wretched (abbreviated by some players as DH), is the second oldest of the six Barrows brothers. Dharok's crypt is located in the north-east of the Barrows area. He attacks with Melee using his greataxe. Dharok attacks at a slower speed than his brothers, but when he is at low health he can hit over 60, and thus, he is considered by most players to be the most dangerous of the Barrows brothers. It is strongly recommended that you watch your Prayer extremely closely while fighting Dharok.

Dharok's set effect: Wretched Strength - Causes his average damage dealt to be increased as he loses Hitpoints. This is identical to the set effect gained by players wearing his armour. When below 10% health, Dharok the Wretched is capable of damaging players for over 60 HP. Therefore, it is incredibly important for a player to watch his or her Prayer points (if using protection prayers - HIGHLY recommended).

Strategies

Dharok's weakness is Magic; therefore, it is recommended to use cost-effective spells such as Bolt spells or Magic Dart against him, with the latter being conveniently accurate and cost-effective, since looting the chests gives you death and mind runes.

If your Prayer runs out it is highly recommended you leave his crypt as Dharok can easily take out a player within a few hits without food or an emergency teleport such as a teleport tabletIn many cases, a Ring of life will not save the player from the high hits of Dharok the Wretched.
