|Release date||7 February 2005 (Update)|
|Quest NPC?||Roving Elves|
|Notable features||Enchants Crystal seeds|
| A female elf.|
Ilfeen roams the northern area of the forest of Isafdar. If spoken to after completion of Roving Elves, she will give players a book called the Crystal of seren, which can be placed in a Player-owned house bookcase.
She can be found in two places:
- The clearing just south of the quest start point for Roving Elves.
- South of the Elf Camp (just north of the Elf musician in the patch of forest next to the trap covered in leaves).
Because of her understanding of Crystal seeds, she can enchant them into FULL bows or shields for a price. (they will not be tradeable)
If you have a Crystal bow , shield or halberd that has reverted to a Crystal seed, Ilfeen can enchant it back to a bow or shield for a price. The price drops by 180,000/150,000 each time you have a seed enchanted into a bow/shield (respectively), down to a minimum price:
|Enchantment||Cost for crystal bow||Cost for crystal shield||Cost for crystal halberd|
|Fifth and thereafter||180,000||150,000|
Ilfeen will only recharge a bow or shield once it fully depletes - you can't recharge the initial item from the end of Roving Elves until it reverts back to a seed.
Once llfeen enchants a Crystal seed at least once into a shield or bow she is then able to re-enchant partially degraded crystal equipment, at a proportion of the cost. For example, a Crystal bow in '9/10' condition can be recharged back to full condition for 18,000 coins if the minimum recharge cost has already been reached. Likewise, a Crystal shield in '2/10' condition can be recharged for 600,000 coins if it is the first time Ilfeen is re-enchanting. A recharge in this manner will not count towards reducing the cost for future re-enchantments.
