The Iron kiteshield is the second-weakest smithable kiteshield, requiring 1 Defence to wield. A player with 27 Smithing can make the shield by using three iron bars on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 75 Smithing experience. It can also be bought from Cassie's Shield Shop but this approach does not work for iron men.
An iron kiteshield is used in the completion of emote clues of certain easy clue scrolls.
