The song "Little Cave of Horrors" is a play on the film "The Little Shop of Horrors".
Many of the pirates, mainly who have had some physical injury, always seem to bring up an albatross into their tales. This may be a reference to the poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Because of the poem, albatross are considered a bad omen. In the poem, those who harm the albatross are cursed.
A common misconception about Mos Le' Harmless is that there are impling spawns on it. However, these spawns were not added until 2008 alongside the release of the Pirate impling and the addition of new wheat fields across Gielinor.
