After a Farming-specific random event, a rake head is one of two items that a rake will become when any player attempts to use it to remove weeds when Farming (the other part being the rake handle). During this event, the two parts suddenly separate (players will keep the handle in their inventory) and the player will find the head tossed onto the ground somewhere in their immediate vicinity.

It is recommended that players need not worry too much about this event though, as the repair is easy to accomplish if one does get a broken rake, as the only use for a rake head is to combine it with the rake handle to form a complete rake again (use one of the parts on the other to facilitate the repair). Any repaired rake is 100% usable further on though it may break again in the future with use.
