This article is about the skeleton hellhound fought during the In Search of the Myreque quest. For the minion summoned by Vet'ion, see Skeleton Hellhound (Vet'ion).
The Skeleton Hellhound is a monster summoned by Vanstrom Klause during the In Search of the Myreque quest to kill the remaining Myreque members. In order for the quest to be completed, the Skeletal Hellhound must be defeated, which should not be a problem for a moderately leveled player, as it is fairly weak. Oddly enough, Crumble Undead does not work against this monster.
After dying, the Skeleton Hellhound will drop 4 big bones and two uncut rubies, which appear to be the eyes of the monster.
He can be fought in the Nightmare Zone after the quest is complete. The ones found here do not drop uncut rubies.
Trivia
- When Hellhound slayer task is assigned, the skeleton hellhound gives 55 slayer xp after being defeated.
- Upon defeating the Skeleton Hellhound in Nightmare Zone it has a chance of dropping a Long bone or Curved bone.
