What is the woodcutting axe for? It's listed in the items you need but no further mentioning.

Killing Jungle Spiders

The main page says "You may also kill Jungle spiders wandering north of the calquat patch to earn favour. This is a fast method to earn favour for players with high combat levels. You may have to earn favour by other means or trade favour in before being able to use this method." (emphasis mine). Does this "may" mean that it isn't known if that's the case, or that only some players need to do this? For me, earning favour wasn't enough and I actually needed to trade it in. --24.5.64.37 22:05, September 3, 2018 (UTC)

It wasn't known what allows the method to work. I don't remembering having to trade in myself so I'm still not sure. iN008^talk 22:38, September 3, 2018 (UTC)
