A troll thistle is an item that is used during Eadgar's Ruse. It can be obtained by picking it in any of the grass areas in Trollheim near the cave where Eadgar lives. Note that every time the thistle is picked, it spawns in a different grass patch.
It must be used on a fire to create a dried thistle and then used on a pestle and mortar to create ground thistle. This must then be added to a ranarr potion (unf) to create a troll potion.
If it is dropped, it withers away and does not appear on the ground.
