The Zamorakian hasta is made by taking a Zamorakian spear to Otto Godblessed, along with a payment of 300,000 coins. It is the fastest hasta in the game, being 0.6 seconds (1 game tick) faster than every other hasta.
It is a popular weapon against several monsters, often used against dragons of all types and Vet'ion, as it has the highest stab bonus in the game and a reasonable crush bonus. It also has slight defensive bonuses and a prayer bonus, although it can only give shared or Defence XP. All of the stat bonuses remain the same as a Zamorakian spear, and it retains its special attack, making it superior in all circumstances (except when fighting Corporeal Beast) as it allows for an off-hand equipment such as a shield to be used. In order to make or wield it, you must have completed the bow firemaking (you do not have to do the chewed bones part), barehand fishing and smithing of Barbarian Training.

The hasta can be converted back to a spear at no cost. However, it will cost 300,000 or 150,000 coins (with completion of the elite Kandarin Diary tasks) to turn the spear into a hasta.
Between 19 December 2013 and 26 December 2013, a content poll was run to determine whether a new, one-handed variant of the Zamorakian spear, dubbed the Zamorakian hasta, should be introduced to the game. It gained 12,903 votes, passing the 75% mark required for content polls to pass.
Despite the examine text calling it a spear, the Zamorakian hasta does not deal full damage when fighting the Corporeal Beast.
