Zogre bones detail

Zogre bones are associated with the Prayer skill. They are dropped by Zogres and skogres. There's a chance (about 1/4 bones buried) that a Skogre spawns next to a player when these bones are buried inside Jiggig.

Zogre bones give 22.5 Prayer experience when bured, 78.75 prayer experience when used on a gilded altar with both incense burners lit, and 90 prayer experience when used with the Ectofuntus.

The Skogre will have the following characteristics:
  • It is there for a limited time, and may disappear while you are attacking it if its time runs out during the battle.
  • It is aggressive.
  • The bones you buried will NOT give you any prayer experience.
  • The Skogre will drop an Ogre coffin key, as well as another set of Zogre bones.
Zogre bones, when compared, are less favoured by players to train as it give less Prayer experience than other related bones such as Fayrg bones, Raurg bones and Ourg bones.

These bones are often used on a Gilded altar for experience due to the tedious work required to worship the Ectofuntus.
